I just realized that I'm fairly certain that the beef patty of the jr. bacon cheeseburger I had at the Wendy's (same one where I got picked up last year) was not square, but round, and that that is both sick and wrong.

Now I understand emo. Stupid emo song makes me want to cry.
Does Dashboard Confessional still count as emo if people like me and Lindsay Mochan listen to them?

Brhh! I'm Burton Cummings! The Guess Who got so much better after I joined, even though Randy Bachman is clearly more hardcore than I am, because I'm the best! I'm Burton Cummings! Shmeh!

I've decided to go really no-tolerance on a couple of things. Rascism being one, and violence the other. My friends make rascist jokes all the time, but I've really really been noticing in the past couple of months that the older we get the more we let it slip by. If someone we knew was actually rascist, it might come to the point where we'd just be okay with that. I've decided it's not okay, and it's never going to be okay. Sure there's an aspect of people having the right to their own opinion, but I just don't want to be friends with those people.
The violence thing is just a product of stupid Families class, where most of the class thought that section 43 of the code regarding using physical force to punish your children shouldn't be changed. I don't think that ever hitting your kids will ever be okay. I was never ever hit as a child, and I don't intend to hit my children. Violence is an unnecessary evil and I especially don't want to be the one to expose my children to it.
These are just things that have been on my mind lately. Other things on my mind include Vanessa, Vancouver (woah, two Vs), formal (bleh), Ottawa (see you at 6.30am Monday, kids) and pitas.

Why should I not publish my diary? I have often seen reminiscences of people I have never even heard of, and I fail to see - because I do not happen to be a 'Somebody' - why my diary should not be interesting. My only regret is that I did not commence it when I was a youth.
