I don't think anyone gets how much I like Ani DiFranco...
Just listen to the track "I Know This Bar". Her voice is like smoke.
I wish I could sing. I mean, I wish I had a place to do it that wasn't just the kitchen. I can sing, I just don't have a good spot. I just don't have an audience.
Ani is pretty much the first music I really REALLY liked (Paul Simon not included. He's pretty much God to me. Really). People started listening to music in grade 7 and 8 for real, like their own choices and stuff, but I didn't really start until grade 8ish and it was Indigo Girls at first, but then Ani.
So much.
